How many chains with regular wool.? Does the chain have to be a multiple of 2

I bought the pattern, but the instructions on making the rose are very unclear
I agree, I struggled a lot with that part and it definitely takes a while to understand. You just have to work into the back loop of the hdc. If you look carefully it should look like there’s still a v which is the front loop and hdc loop (if that makes sense??) a youtube video helped me so it might work for you too ❤
